BarnGamerz was initially an experiment to see if we could actually make our own site, from scratch. It then turned into a project just to show that we knew how to do a website. 95% of websites fail due to lack of content, failure to keep up with hosting, or just flat out giving up because of no visitors. Currently, our fanbase is quite small and is slowly growing. We will not be giving up that easily. We see potential in making our site into a place users can come see our show, read up on gaming and anime figure reviews and see detailed descriptions and photo’s that people are actually looking for before they go out and buy it themselves.
Our main goal for this site is to get our show launched in the beginning of 2010. We began with a studio tour in downtown Atlanta with Hi-Rez Studios who gave us the opportunity to interview their producer and give us a sneak peek at their game, Global Agenda. We found it to be a huge success and are pleased with the outcome of the video. We are not professional editors when it came to video editing, but we learned and put together a pretty good video with Final Cut Studio. You can view the results here
Our main camera, XH A1, shown above.
We are a small team consisting of a group of friends wanting to do something different with this.. geek industry? Our idea for the show is going to take a ton of work and we do need the community to help. We are looking for great people to be a part of the team to develop this show and make the best of it. We already have tons of equipment but, remember, we are very small and we have our day jobs which are usually 12 hour days. BGZ-Durel is the founder and producer of this site and being a Network Engineer and working everyday of the week, has almost zero time to get a post or review published.
If you are interested in helping the team out with any of your skill sets, or even if you are writter and want to write for us, send us an email at dja[at]BarnGamerz[dot]com. A huge plus if you are in the Atlanta area. We need more friends with dedication and passion to games and anime/film produing to make this project stand out. Our goal is to be different. We are not going to slap some dumb hot chick on a video camera(no pun intended) who probably doesn’t even play games and call it the ‘Daily Fix’.

If you would like to advertise with us, submit a story, send us your artwork or any suggestions or comments, contact Durel at dja[at]BarnGamerz[dot]com. For now, keep an eye on the site as we build and get ready for our show :)
